Christopher M Chappel, MD
Dr. Chappel is a board certified family practice physician who has been practicing medicine in Osceola County since 1982. Dr. Chappel is also certified by the American Medical Directors Association and serves as Medical Director for many of the homes to which our team provides geriatric care. He is a nationally recognized speaker on various disease states, has extensive knowledge on new medications and is trained in the latest drug therapies.
Dr. Chappel graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine then joined the Navy and completed his residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. He then transferred to NARCM in Pensacola, Florida to become a clinical instructor in the Department of Family Medicine before moving to Kissimmee to start his career in Family Practice. In 2014 Dr. Chappel founded the Chappel Group, focusing on the care of seniors.
Todd completed his pre-medicine studies at University of Dayton and received an Associate of Science degree in medical laboratory technology from Clark State College in Springfield, Ohio. Todd went on to receive his Associate of Health Science in Physician Assistant degree from Keron College in Kettering, Ohio. He then relocated to Kissimmee, Florida and Joined the Chappel Group Team in 1992.
Jordan Chappel completed both his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science Education and a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida. Jordan has been a Physician Assistant for the Chappel Group since 2008.
Audra completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Stetson University and then on to complete her Master of Medical Science Degree at Nova Southeastern University. Audra first joined the Chappel Group working in 2011.
Leslie is a registered nurse covering our Osceola County nursing facilities . A previous Director of Nursing, she has been working with geriatric patients since 1978. Leslie joined the Chappel Group in 2011 and is a key member of our team in delivering outstanding care to our patients.
Rebecca has practiced as a Registered Nurse Case Manager in our Polk County nursing facilities for the past seven years. She prefers practicing in geriatric medicine and is working towards a master’s degree to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Rebecca finds enjoyment in working in geriatrics and continues to learn from her patients experiences while providing exceptional care and education that leads her patients to better health. She has been part of the Chappel Group team since 2012.
Tyson D. Smith
Tyson has been a Licensed Practical Nurse for 12 years. He has predominately worked in the Senior Care field throughout his career. Tyson has a passion for providing superior care in all aspects of nursing. He has been part of the Chappel Group team since 2019.
